Little ones can enjoy Jawai too, but expectations and routines matter more than on any other trip.

Plan around naps and meals

Choose the drive that fits your child’s routine. Evening drives are usually easier than 6:00 AM starts. Keep drives short and take breaks. Be ready to turn back early if a child is unhappy.

Safety and comfort

  • Keep young children seated and close at all times.
  • Use a carrier for babies and bring a blanket, hat and layers.
  • Carry water, milk or formula, snacks and wet wipes.
  • Bring child-friendly sun protection.

At the hotel

Tell us about your child’s age and any dietary needs, and ask for mild food. See family travel tips and is Jawai safe.
