Quick answers to the questions first-time visitors ask most.

A few questions come up again and again. Here are straight answers.

Timing and season

Drives run around sunrise and late afternoon. October to June is best for open hills, with winter the most comfortable.

Jeeps and guides

All our drives are in private open jeeps with a driver and a local tracker.

Food and stay

Our restaurant is 100% vegetarian, and the hotel is in Bera village, close to the hills.

Before you arrive

Bring a photo ID, layers, a hat and a bottle for water. Keep the phone charged and download offline maps.

On the day

Be ready at the agreed time, listen to your guide and enjoy the drive. Relax: not every moment is about the leopard.

Common worries

Many first-timers worry about cold, boredom or disappointment. Layers fix the cold. Binoculars, birds and landscape fix boredom. And a relaxed attitude to the leopard makes every drive enjoyable, whatever turns up.
