Safari rates depend on the season, the group size and the kind of drive, so we share them on enquiry rather than print numbers that go out of date. The structure, however, stays the same and is worth understanding before you book.
Private jeep only
Every safari we run is in a private open jeep: the whole vehicle is yours, with your own driver and tracker. It suits families, couples and photographers, and lets you set the pace, stop for photographs and take breaks when you need them.
What is usually included
- An open 4x4 jeep, driver and a local tracker.
- About three hours on the road, depending on sightings.
- A tea or snack stop where safe.
Park-style entry or forest charges, if any, and optional extras like a sundowner or breakfast picnic are confirmed when you book.
Packages
We run a classic leopard tracking safari, a Jawai Dam birding drive, a private 4x4 expedition, a small-group photography safari and a Rabari village visit. See the timings and what each drive covers on our safari page, then ask for the current rate.
How to book
- Pick your dates and number of guests.
- Send the request on the booking page – it opens a ready WhatsApp message.
- We confirm availability and share the rate on WhatsApp. No online payment is needed to request.
Weekends, school holidays and December–January fill up quickly, so ask early.
Questions to ask about the price
- How many guests does the jeep carry?
- How long is the drive, and what time does it start?
- Is there a trained local tracker with the vehicle?
- Are there any entry or permit fees?
- Is hotel pickup included?
These answers tell you whether two quotes are really comparable. See Jawai safari price explained.
What you pay for beyond the jeep
A good safari is more than a vehicle: local knowledge, a driver who respects the animals, a clean, safe jeep and a plan that adapts to what is seen. Cheaper options may cut these. A little extra for a trained tracker and small group often pays off in better sightings and a calmer day.
Booking without surprises
Confirm the rate, inclusions and timing in writing, and ask about changes and weather. We share rates on enquiry because they depend on season and plan. Read how to book a Jawai leopard safari and booking tips.
